livestock feed production line

Project sourcing here means lining up comparable replies for a livestock feed production line. Each bidder should state recipe assumptions, whether mash, pelleted or extruded feed is in the quoted route, and whether installation, shipping, training and commissioning sit inside or outside the machine price. We do not score factories as certified or in-stock. Aquafeed float or sink tests belong on the same comparison sheet when fish feed is mixed into the livestock brief by mistake—those acceptance methods are not interchangeable.

Service stage and responsibilities

Handover

Handover: Upstream

Collect recipe ranges, finished form, pellet die diameter in millimetres if pelleting is in scope, and whether cooling and bagging must match the same t/h as the mill. If floating or sinking aquafeed is actually required, the brief asks livestock-line bidders to stop mixing pellet-mill ratings with extrusion, drying and coating. Bühler’s aquafeed pages distinguish floating and sinking applications; that split is a question to copy, not a certificate from this desk.

Control boundary

Ask every bidder to list: receiving and dosing; grinding; mixing; conditioner and pellet mill or extruder; cooler or dryer; coating if used; bagging; dies and spare rolls; installation; training; spare parts; shipping terms. Items left blank are treated as excluded. Connected load, three-phase supply and steam demand belong in the same table so plant contractors are not guessing. Water-stability or pellet-durability claims must name the test duration and sample method—see the aquafeed note.
